The Requiem by Maurice Durufle is one of the greatest choral works of the 20th century. Based on Gregorian themes and adorned with truly transcendent harmonies the music transports you to an enchanted, ethereal place. This is our 75th year, and little could we have known the very composer we commissioned to celebrate our 50th would now be our director. We will present a command performance of “Resounding Praise” and other delightful selections by Faure, Kean and Hagenberg in our program as well.
